CRESavvy was founded in 2025 by commercial loan professionals with decades of experience in the commercial real estate industry. After working with commercial loans for so long, we thought there must be a better way for current and prospective business owners to navigate the complicated commercial real estate loan market. As a 7aSavvy company, we created CRESavvy to be that better way, aiming to make the loan process simpler and easier for borrowers.

CRESavvy’s founder, president, and CEO is Brett Smith. He is an industry veteran who has worked on over $1 Billion in commercial real estate and business loans since 1988.

Mr. Smith has gained experience and expertise through his work at SC Capital Group, as well as his roles as a senior executive with many leading financial and lending institutions over a 20+ year banking career. His success as a loan producer and broker is due to his vast financial industry knowledge, network of relationships, and above all, a deep commitment to serving the borrower.

Now, he has founded CRESavvy as a fintech loan brokering platform in order to help more borrowers get CRE loans and achieve their business goals.
